World Nuclear News: According to the International Energy Agency, IEA, some 6.5 million deaths annually are linked to outdoor and indoor air pollution, "with the number set to increase significantly in coming decades unless the energy sector takes greater action to curb emissions." "Energy production and use - mostly from unregulated, poorly regulated or inefficient fuel combustion - are the most important man-made sources of key air pollutant emissions: 85% of particulate matter and almost all of the sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides." NOTE: This far exceeds realistic projections of deaths from increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. CO2 is absolutely essential for life on Earth. "The more the better." Emeritus Professor William Happer, Princeton U. Physics.

November 19, 2009. Robert H. Austin, Princeton University, Corresponding Author: Over 160 highly qualified scientists request that the APS change wording about climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions accompany human industrial and agricultural activity. While substantial concern has been expressed that emissions may cause significant climate change, measured or reconstructed temperature records indicate that 20th 21st century changes are neither exceptional nor persistent, and the historical and geological records show many periods warmer than today.

Michael Bastasch, The Daily Caller News Foundation: Joe Romm, a climate scientist and writer for the liberal blog ThinkProgress, wrote an article arguing the so-called “Brexit” and the rise of GOP candidate Donald Trump are driven by global warming. Secretary of State John Kerry is quoted as saying, "Either the world works together to keep total warming well below 2°C — or our disunity leads to catastrophic warming and further global disunity not seen since the fall of the Tower of Babel.”

Patrick Moore, Ph.D. Ecology: This study looks at the positive environmental effects of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, a topic which has been well established in the scientific literature but which is far too often ignored in current discussions about man-made climate change policy. All life is carbon based and the primary source of this carbon is CO2 in the atmosphere. The combustion of fossil fuels for energy to power human civilization has reversed the downward trend in CO2. It promises to bring CO2 back to levels that are likely to foster an increase in the growth rate and biomass of plants, including food crops and trees.

Ken Haapala, SEPP, The Science and Environmental Policy Project - Those promoting fear of carbon dioxide (CO2) primarily use three possible threats: one, dangerous increased temperatures; two, change in ocean chemistry (called ocean acidification); and three, drastic sea level rise. John Christy’s February 2, 2016 testimony to the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space & Technology empirically demolishes the argument that increasing CO2 is causing significant global warming. Another fear is rapid sea level rise. Sea levels have risen about 400 feet, 120 meters, since the maximum extent of the last major Ice Age about 18,000 years ago. They will continue to rise until the onset of the next ice age.

William Happer, Emeritus Professor of Physics, Princeton University - Interview about the topic of man-made global warming. Great damage has been done to the reputation of all of science by the global-warming frenzy of the past few decades. Twenty years ago, supposedly expert scientists solemnly declared that our children and grandchildren would not know what snow is. A few weeks ago, Washington, DC, struggled to dig out of three feet of snow, a record in many locales.
