Paul Driessen, CFACT: Hybrid and electric vehicles are not so “green” and “eco-friendly,” after all. Ditto for cell phones, laptops, wind turbines, solar panels, and technologies that utilize batteries, magnets and other components which require cobalt, lithium, rare-earths, and other metals. Many of those technologies trace their ancestry to mines, mining and processing methods, and countries that don’t come close to meeting modern standards for environmental protection, child labor, or “corporate social responsibility.

Kerry Sheridan, AFP: Dr. James Hansen addresses the topic of catastrophic man-made global warming. He considers it so urgent as to publish it before it is peer reviewed. He claims it is urgently necessary to tax fossil fuels (in the United States) and greatly reduce their use or (American) kids will suffer from man-made extremes in the climate/weather. Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy - USA presents their photographic evidence. People around the world, who depend on fossil fuels, disagree with Dr. Hansen about taxing and stopping use of fossil fuels.

President Obama: We led with historic investments in growing industries like wind and solar that created a steady stream of new jobs. We set the first-ever nationwide standards to limit the amount of carbon pollution that power plants can dump into the air. Note: The world will see how President Obama's claims and actions play out in the future. It is very important for all countries to reduce air, water and land pollution, respect the environment and protect biodiversity. EFN-USA does not consider CO2 to be a pollutant anywhere near these concentrations. It is essential for life.

Barack Obama, President of the United States: A sweeping global agreement to combat climate change by shifting the world economy away from fossil fuels will take force next month after passing a threshold for ratification on Wednesday with support from European nations. President Obama, speaking from the Rose Garden, called the "Paris Agreement" potentially a "turning point" for our planet. "This gives us the best possible shot to save the one planet we've got," Obama said.

Steve Weismantel: Many scary scenarios have described the purported consequences of so-called man-made global warming (aka climate change) which is supposedly caused by the burning of fossil fuels and their CO2 emissions. The government has relentlessly used its many resources to push the CO2-causal theory, including nongovernmental entities who are vested in any climate crisis. The historic record, however, contradicts the CO2 theory and “sky will be falling” predictions.

This is a book review or "Hubris: The Troubling Science, Economics and Politics of Climate Change" by Michael Hart. Review by Michael Kelly: “The global climate is changing, and has always been changing. The earth has warmed by 1C over the last 150 years. That is not the issue. The issue is whether the human emissions of carbon dioxide since 1850 are heralding an imminent and certain global climate catastrophe that could be averted by engineering projects."

Willis Eschenbach: James Hansen is the NASA scientist who is leading the charge to stop all forms of cheap energy. Coal is bad. He calls trains of coal “death trains”. He wants to deny cheap energy to all of those folks in the bottom half. He wants to deny access to cheap energy to everyone, but where it hurts is the bottom half. For example, the World Bank and other international funding agencies, at the urging of people like Hansen, have been turning down loans for coal plants in developing countries.
